Does your contract let you charge for extra work?

Paste the scope and terms of an agreement you are using, or open the file. You get an answer on twelve points, and the wording for whatever is missing.

Your document is not stored, and a file is never uploaded. A .docx or .pdf is opened and read inside your own browser; only the plain text is sent, checked, and thrown away. Nothing is written to disk except the score. How that works.

Where the twelve come from

They are the points that decide who wins a scope argument, in the order they tend to cost money. The first four are the core: changes must be written, approved before work starts, priced, and able to move the delivery date. Miss any one of those and the other eight cannot save you.

These twelve and their weights are editorial judgement. No lawyer reviewed them and no corpus validated them. They come from how these arguments actually play out, not from case law, and a contract that scores twelve out of twelve can still be a bad contract. Treat the score as a prompt to look, never as a clearance.

It only reads English, and it only reads the words in front of it. It does not know the law where you work or whether any clause is enforceable there.
